Vitamin B5 Acne Cure

Vitamin B5 Acne Cure

Page 13

The main acne causing factor is skin oil and this is produced by overactive glands.
Vitamin B5 (also known as pantothenic acid) regulates your oil producing glands to a
normal level, similar to Accutane without the severe side effects.
The reason too much oil is being released has to do with the lipids and fatty acid
deposits underneath the skin not getting broken down
and re-circulated into the bloodstream. Instead they are
being released as sebum (oil). What enables our body to
break down these fatty acids is directly related to an
enzyme called coenzyme A, which is an essential en-
zyme to the body and is used for fatty acid metabolism.
When there is enough Vitamin B5 available in the diet,
the deficiency in coenzyme A is eliminated. As a result, a
person's fatty acids get broken down and the skin does-
n't over release oil. Without the over releasing of oil,
acne does not occur.
Vitamin B5 is NOT dangerous. Even though high dos-
ages are required to effectively treat acne, Vitamin B5 is
water soluble, meaning any excess is lost through urina-
tion and not retained by your body. No toxicity symp-
toms have been reported in literature. No Tolerable Up-
per Limit (UL) was established by the Institute of Medi-
cine at the National Academy of Sciences in its 1998
public health recommendations for vitamin B5.
Tips to taking Vitamin B5 for acne:

♦ Take it with food, 3-4 times a day as this will minimize any side effects.

♦ Take a good multi-vitamin, B-Complex, vitamin E and fish oil or evening prim-
rose oil.

♦ Minimize alcohol consumption, which is known to deplete Vitamin B5 and other
essential nutrients in the body.

♦ There are many brands of vitamin B5 on the market. My personal preference is
SkinB5 Acne Relief products, www.skinb5.com. They use pure ingredients and
their products are specifically designed to treat acne.

My Acne Clearing Secret

In this article you're going to learn the secret to clearing your acne, 100% naturally and effectively.

I used to suffer from terrible acne for over a decade. I had tried hundreds of different acne treatments, from antibiotics, accutane and over-the-counters, to 3 step cleanser systems, 3 day fasts on apples and drinking nothing but lemon water...

And none of these worked to clear my acne!

I can only sympathize with those that have acne and have tried 'everything'. It's frustrating and upsetting. But there is a way to clear acne naturally, and this is how I cleared my acne...

What I discovered about acne and how to clear it is this. Food is a direct cause of acne. Some foods cause acne and some help fight against acne. This is because some foods cause something called hormonal inflammation, and this is what causes acne in every case.

So what food causes the worst acne?

In my experience, and in many other acne sufferers experience too, it is vegetable oil that causes acne. This is the worst food to eat if you want clear skin and don't currently have it.

Vegetable oil is found in many foods, but it is simple to avoid. Some cooking oils are vegetable oils, and junk food usually contains it. To find out where you are eating this acne causing food you need to check the ingredients of the food you eat, and cut out any that has vegetable oil in it.

Acne Treatment At A Glance

Most people affected by acne are aged between 12 and 25. The most common areas affected by body acne are the neck, shoulders, and back. Science and medical research have done a lot of studies and established a number of theories on what the real causes of acne are. The real and main causes of acne are hormone imbalance, water retention and toxins.

Most herbal remedies for acne are completely safe and effective for various skin types. The common antibiotics for treatment of acne are minocycline, doxycycline and tetracycline. The psychological aspects of acne are often down played, and the condition is considered "merely cosmetic" and not a true disease. The classic symptoms of acne are the result of an overproduction of secum by the sebaceous glands, which often starts around the time of puberty.

Please remember that no treatment will completely cure your acne. The main aim of the treatment of acne is to prevent new spots appearing on the skin. However, advances in laser treatment have made it possible to remove scars and now is being used to treat acne worldwide. We know more today than ever before about the treatment of acne. Remember that it can take 3-6 weeks to see any improvement after beginning treatment for acne.

Everybody's skin is different and the causes of acne are different, so naturally the treatments also must be different. Adults with acne are also less likely than teens to seek treatment for their acne, leaving them to suffer alone. Whether natural or medical methods of controlling acne are better will depend on your particular situation. All but the most severe grades of acne are controllable although not curable. Vitamin A for natural acne, niacinamide for acne and zinc for acne are clinically proven to be best effective vitamins for acne. The key to approaching acne treatment is an understanding that the outward vestiges of acne are manifestations of internal imbalance.

Acne and pregnancy

During pregnancy, acne is unpredictable. For some lucky women, the result is a welcome surprise — clear skin, the “glow of pregnancy” that you were told about. If this is your case, enjoy it! But don’t get overconfident. When existing acne virtually disappears during pregnancy, it often recurs afterward — sorry!

However, existing acne can also get worse. Pregnancy is a time of tremendous hormonal upheaval. Your levels of estrogen and progesterone are rising, and your skin becomes more sensitive to the changes in the circulating hormones in your body. In fact, some women may experience acne for the first time when they become pregnant, even if they never had acne during their teens.

When one gets pregnant the level of hormones increase which leads to more sebum meaning more acne. The acne or pimples increases in the first trimester and as the pregnancy proceeds further the level of estrogen increases the acne reduces or completely disappears. Besides the face acne can also appear on the chest and the back.

When breastfeeding some of the hormones that trigger your acne during pregnancy may still be at work and you may wish to continues treating those pesky pimples. But be aware, that certain medications taken by mouth or applied to your skin may wind up in your breast milk.

If you are facing the acne during pregnancy you can reduce and even eliminate by simply

Washing your face with oil free cleanser two three times a day

Don’t take stress/tension about the acne as its both dangerous for your baby and the acne.

Drink plenty of water as it will eliminate the body wastes.

Don’t touch your pimples as by touching you have the chance to spread on the more area.

Don’t squeeze as they will leave the scar which will be horrible.
